Elizabeth Green originally trained and worked as a fashion designer. She has a great deal of experience of the fashion industry, both on design and production, and is competent to deal with all disputes concerning that industry.
She has written many articles on copyright, registered and unregistered design right and specialises in this area of the law. Her most recent articles on the European Designs Directive appeared in Copyright World in the May and June/July 1999 issues. Elizabeth will be particularly happy to advise on the the Registered Designs Act 1949 which will be duly amended in major ways on 9th December 2001 to implement the Designs Directive.
Elizabeth also spent some years in financial institutions
in London, including Grand Metropolitan Finance Limited and Bank of America. She gained a great deal of commercial experience and has been
involved in matters concerning corporate finance. She therefore also specialises in insolvency, company/commercial law, e-commerce and the law
of contract.
